Want this too?

84 people want DVD's and BluRays that don't force you to watch all the previews (stop disabling menu button).

It is not fun watching previews of old movies that we've already seen. Enable the skip buttons at least!

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass

I'm with you guys. Taking it a little further from what David wrote, maybe a compromise would be that after we view the DVD once the lock on previews would be disabled. So, we can choose to watch previews again if we want (or we can just skip to menu). The same should go for the copyright warnings. Just let us click [OK] button when they come up, at least.

Certainly if we have purchased the DVD we shouldn't be forced to watch the previews before the movie each time. This is one of the most annoying things about DVD/Bluray. Having to skip through each preview is annoying and it lags/etc. And sometimes you can't just fwd all the way thru. I just want to be able to click [menu] and get started. What if CDs were this way? Same thing, as far as I'm concerned.

Give the people what they want. Choice to skip stupid ads for movies we've already seen.

I don't buy many dvd's these days.. and that is partly because of this practice. Disney is notorious for trying to trick you into watching old previews. Argghhhh....

Darn straight. I paid good money for that disc yet the experience is worse than if I'd pirated a copy. Get it together Hollywood.
