33 people want Disney to end the "Vault" for their classic movies and make them available to download for purchase or rental at any time.

Stop depriving entire generations of children access to movies like Bambi or Dumbo simply because the child is of the wrong age at the wrong time to catch distribution of such movies.

The Disney Vault is an out-dated distribution model that has become unnecessary with digital online distribution since there is no inventory cost to making the movie available full-time.

	I think the original reason for the "vault" was to streamline the company's distribution chains, so they could concentrate on only a few movies at a time for marketing and duplication. With stores like iTunes and Amazon, you really don't need this anymore since all titles can be distributed without much penalty. Also, I believe "the vault" encourages piracy, since it is easy to simply rent an out-of-distribution movie and "rip" it to your hard drive, rather than buying it. If you can't buy it, there is little choice for those that want to watch a movie often (which is common with children's titles).

	"Seriously" was the first word that came to my mind. Because the vault is kinda the dumbest thing ever. Don't they know that I would currently purchase a couple of their great ones if they'd just sell them?? Don't they like money?
