13 people want Food Stamp Reform so purchases of soda, candy, desserts and coffee are disallowed.

Currently, you can use your food stamps card to buy coffee at Starbucks and make purchases at fast food establishments inside grocery stores. Also, if you want to buy $500 worth of soda and candy each month, you can!!?? (This is great business for people who run vending machines. Their earnings are cash so they don't have to show income...which qualifies them for free inventory by just getting on food stamps.)

This is INSANE! You can eat all the Twinkies and Donuts you Want!? This is a misuse of tax dollars and a unhealthy burden on the people.

The Food Stamp Program ("Nutrition Assistance" they call it) should be ESSENTIAL meal products only! If you want to assist one's nutrition, you will not encourage them to make unhealthy choices.
