Want this too?

14 people want Paradise Bakery to drop their food behind their stores where it can be easily accessible rather than letting it go to waste in trash cans.

A friend of mine is an employee for Paradise Bakery and they throw out dozens of cookies, muffins, loafs of bread, etc. every day. He said Paradise Bakery won't take it to soup kitchen/etc. for liability purposes. (So maybe this ask should be to make it possible for bakeries to not get sued for being kind.)

Funny, I have a friend at Chandler location (off the 202-Santan) who says the same. One time he brought tons of cookies to our class (MCC), which was really cool of him. But, he said that usually they toss tons of cookies, muffins, etc.

I have a friend who worked for two different location who said they dump tons of stuff in the garbage every night. He worked for a location at Dana Park (I think), and one in Chandler, and I think a 3rd further Southeast in the Greater Phoenix Area.

A representative from Paradise Bakery reported today, "We donate our food at the end of each day to the Salvation Army." This has not been the experience of many of you, it seems. We hope Paradise Bakery will add a Progress to inform us otherwise.
