Want this too?
33 people want Lawrence Lessig and Nick Dranias to debate campaign finance reform.
UPDATE: Ask For It has reached out to Mr. Lessig and Mr. Dranias and both are willing to debate this, but we need to show that there are more people asking for this. Please help spread the work and ask your friends to join!

Lawrence Lessig is one of today's top legal theorists: intelligent and thorough, focused on the future instead of the past, and willing to think outside the box and work with people on the other side of the political spectrum. Currently focused on campaign finance reform, he was so opposed to the Citizens United decision that he is now promoting a US constitutional amendment as the best way to accomplish that reform.
Nick Dranias is a supremely talented attorney at the free-market Goldwater Institute in Arizona. He has argued cases against campaign finance laws and was instrumental in having portions of Arizona's Clean Elections Act overturned. His presentations are detailed, insightful, persuasive, and powerful.
Dranias and Lessig are now working together to try and get the US states to call for a constitutional convention. At the recent Conference on the Constitutional Convention (http://vimeo.com/30446278), it was clear that they held each other in high regard but they still differ in their opinions on the best way to fix the problems with our government.
If we can get these two guys together to debate and discuss this issue, then we will all learn a lot. If there is anything they can agree on, we need to listen.
