12 people want quicker 9-1-1 response times.

The last 3 times I've had to call 9-1-1 after witnessing an accident or serious crime my call was dropped or I was on hold for a minute or so before someone answered.

9-1-1 should never put someone on hold!
Worst case scenario...they should allow me to speak to voicemail just in case I'm DEAD or CAPTURED before they take me off HOLD!

More often than not when I call 9-1-1 it rings multiple times, there is a delay of at least 15+ secs before someone answers...but most common is getting a busy signal and having to call back another time or two. Fortunately, I've just had to call in car accidents that were moderately serious. I'm glad I'm not a teenage girl hiding in my closet with a serial killer coming up the steps looking for me with his scary mask on and a shiny butcher knife...
