24 people want Verizon to run a Public Service ad campaign warning of the dangers of texting while driving.

People are 4 times more likely to get in an accident talking on the phone while driving. But that number balloons to 28 times more likely while texting!

As the largest provider of cellular services in the United States, Verizon could do great good if they'd take a page from the Alchohol industry's "Drink Responsibly" campaign and run some public service ads on the danger of using their phones to text while driving. Save some lives, Verizon!!!

I agree, all the providers should have to put out the message.

True - I don't care who does it, but it should be done.
