Want this too?
13 people want unclaimed rebates to go to private charities instead of into government coffers.
Currently if rebate checks are not redeemed, the unclaimed rebate money must be given to the government to do with the money what it will.
We'd like to see companies to have the option to donate those monies to registered charities of the company's choice.
Why should that money go to the government? The money either belongs to the company or the customer, NOT THE GOVERNMENT. If the customer doesn't claim it, let the company donate it to private charity!
