14 people want a television channel that has higher education "shows" (i.e. Physics), weekly classroom instruction "episodes," and engaging "professors".

To gain more from television than game shows can provide and learn more than mere "interesting facts" from its programming. For those who don't need a paper degree on the wall (to show others) or just want to learn without going to campus to audit classes. Each "season" might be one semester of a college level course and each "episode" might be one hour (or less, if commercials are necessary) of classroom instruction. I wouldn't mind if they required a textbook but the "professors" should be passionate or excited about the subjects (and "engage" the viewers). The next season might be Physics 102, then 201, 202, 301, etcetera. All this so we can learn at our own pace and according to our own interest ... while at home.
