36 people want the U.S. Debt Ceiling to not be raised by Congress without commensurate spending cuts.

Debt-financed spending has pushed America to the financial brink. America must cut government spending and it must cap future spending and borrowing. The only argument that can be made to increase the debt ceiling would be if it were essentially used as a bargaining chip and coupled with *permanent* spending cuts, statutory caps on future government spending, and reforms to balance the budget.
