97 people want iTunes to remember our purchases for music so if we accidentally delete it, we can download it again without being charged.

I don't like that I have to purchase my music again through itunes if I accidentally delete it/can't find it/want to listen to the song on my ipod but i didn't transfer it over to it.

Other online music stores offer this solution, why can't iTunes?

yeah - my computer got a bug and the whole thing crashed - i lost everything. was really upset when i realized iTunes doesn't remember your purchases and I had to upload 100 of my fav cd's again into my account to get them on myy new iPod
