Want this too?

31 people want to be able to buy movies edited for content.

There are a lot of great movies that have content that is considered offensive to some people or isn't appropriate for kids. It would be great to have the option to get movies that have all the offensive stuff removed already.

You should also check out this company: ClearPlay.com.

They sell a special DVD player that can filter movies. The filters are done manually by real people, then you download them over the internet, put them on a thumb drive, and plug them into your DVD player.

And voila! You can watch filtered movies.

Really. Because there are so many good movies out there that have unnecessary scenes/words. With minor edits, good movies could become great movies!!

I believe there have been 3rd party companies who have done this in the past, but the studios shut them down for altering the movies. Clean Films and Clean Flix are the two that come to mind. They were in Utah and Arizona for a while before getting shut down. Back then (10 years ago) they were doing it manually on VHS, it would be so much easier now in the digital age for studios to do this. I don't know if it's a reality, but I would pay handsomely to see a few highly rated movies without the garbage in there.
